Under the direction of the Director of University Libraries, lead and participate in technology initiatives that enhance the University Libraries' services. In addition, represent the Director in meetings, forums and projects external to the Libraries, maintain an outward focus on activities and trends in the information science field, and work to establish connections between staff and new opportunities. Responsibilities include:
Area Head, Library Information Technology Services / University of Connecticut, Storrs, CT (2002-2004)
Under the general direction of the Director of University Libraries, administered, coordinated and provided leadership in policy and program development for the Information Technology Services Area. This included direct responsibility for system-wide administration and management of electronic information systems and servers for all of the University Libraries as well as oversight responsibility for the Computer and Copy Services within the Homer Babbidge Library.
