Dispatches from the Crib...

Subject: Did you know you can make a neat noise by putting your lips together and blowing?

I just figured this out yesterday! Maybe you already knew about it. I've been making bubbles with my spit for a few weeks now, but yesterday I discovered that if I blow at the same time, I can make a really neat sound! Mommy calls them 'raspberries' but I don't know what those are.

The strangest thing happened on Saturday, too. Daddy put a worm in my hand, so I held on to it. I brought it up to my face and was surprised to see it there! Then I put it down and brought it up and was surprised again! Then I tried to eat the nose off the worm.

There are lots of new things going on now. Last Sunday I started babbling with Daddy before church. He just laid me on his bed and made funny faces, and I started giggling. That was so much fun I kept talking in church, but I don't think I was supposed to do that 'cause Mommy took me downstairs.

Grandmommy and Granddaddy Feather are here to spend a week with me. We are going to have lots of fun playing, reading, and listening to music. Daddy has some more pictures, but he said it will take him a week or so to put them up on my website. Look for them next week!
